Q. Is there a limit to the number of letters on a name label?

A. We can print up to 30 characters on a label

Q. Can I have accents on letters?

A. We can print all accents or unusual letters.

Q. What colours are the labels and the fonts?

A. All labels are white and you can choose from four font colours - Black, Red, Blue or Green.

Q. What can I use labels for?

A. Labels are ideal for marking clothing and possessions for pre-schoolers, students, sports teams, hospital patients, rest home residents and more!

Q. How quickly should I expect my order?

A. Often we can deliver your order within 48 hours, however orders can take up to 5 working days to be delivered throughout New Zealand, rural deliveries may take longer. If you have an urgent order, please give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Q. What are the delivery charges?

A. Delivery within New Zealand is free of charge. There are additional charges for international orders.

Q. How do I order?

A. Ordering is simple, and can be done a number of ways. You can call, fax or email orders using the details on the contacts page, or for the quickest and easiest way to order please use our online Place an Order service.

Q. How can I pay for my labels?

A. We accept many forms of payment, including credit card, cheque or bank transfer. In order for you to receive your labels as quickly as possible we recommend our safe and secure online credit card facility.

Q. Are my credit card details secure?

A. Yes, your credit card details are secure when ordering with Lynne’s Labels as we use PayPal. PayPal uses industry-leading technology to encrypt your information and keep it safe and secure.

Q. What quantities can I order?

A. You can order quantities of 25, 50, 100, 200 labels. We can happily print more if required – contact us for a quote.

Q. Does the printing fade?

A. There have been no reports of labels fading after regular machine and industrial laundry processes over the normal life of a garment.

Q. Can the iron on label be removed?

A. The adhesive is intended to make a permanent bond with the garment and cannot readily be removed.

Q. Is the iron on fabric different to the sew on fabric?

A. Yes, the iron on fabric is heavier as it contains an adhesive compound that fuses with the garment material when a moderately hot iron is applied. The iron on labels can also be sewn on.

Q. Does it matter what material the iron on labels are attached to?

A. No, as long as the material can withstand a moderately hot iron long enough to fuse the adhesive in the label. Care is required on elastic bands and fluffy fabrics.

Q. Can I have half iron on, and half sew on labels?

A. Yes, there is an additional $5.00 per order to cover re-setting
